Clothes that don’t wear out are an environmental disaster.

The very properties that make natural fibres so wonderful to wear also mean that they need a little attention from time to time - like all good relationships, the more effort you put in, the more you get back. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing an item that I have made, having been so well worn that it needs a little repair. Knowing that someone has treasured it enough to invest in that repair - either by sending it back to the studio or enjoying a little home darning - proves to me that I am creating clothes with meaning.

Wear your clothes to the fullest, enjoy them thoroughly, and then thank them by taking the time to repair them.

Use this patch to cover a hole or reinforce over a seam if the cloth has pulled loose. You can gently pull threads from the edge of the patch for a perfect match for darning/stitching it in.

We will keep patches available to match our clothing for as long as we possibly can, but eventually, inevitably, we will run out. If there is a particular cloth that you are hoping to match but don’t see it listed (eg. our lining fabrics as they vary quite a bit) do get in touch as we might be able to help.
